Testimonials

"Thank you for an interesting, enriching and inspiring evening. Already enjoyed the short time I had afterwards with my own kids. Implementing your guidance… we ended up our busy day in a calmer, happier way."

"Suzanne brought our Early Childhood Educators ideas that helped them build a deeper awareness of their practice. She invites practitioners to bring their day to day experiences to the conversation, so that they can try out the phrases and ideas that support children."

"We called on Suzanne to help us with both of our kids and some behavioural issues. She is very informative, and her unique approach taught step by step, really made a big difference in our home. Suzanne truly cares about her clients and will go over and above to help. She is responsive, sends helpful notes, and follows up to ensure everything is working well. I would highly recommend her services."

 Mother of 2 children

"Having an ADHD son led to a point where he didn’t care and started to adopt the role of a “trouble maker “especially at school. When he was 10 years old, we couldn’t take his “oppositional behaviour” anymore. Trying different therapists and approaches nothing worked. When Suzanne introduced us to descriptive praise, it worked on the first day we tried using it.The strategies required a lot of personal adjustment and Suzanne was there to help us re-phrase sentences and change our attitude. The most important part was the “personal” homework Suzanne gave us in order to help us change, so we could begin to work on getting a more positive relationship with our son. It still works, and we are grateful for the change she helped us make in our life."

Parent of 2 children

"We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to meet and learn from Suzanne. Her kind, gentle and proactive approach to parenting has enabled us to be the parents we want to be while supporting our children's emotional and developmental phases. Her teachings have given us a landing ground to turn to when feeling challenged and a platform to grow as parents and a family. Thank you so much Suzanne for all your wisdom and guidance."

"Suzanne’s Calmer, Happier Parenting workshop exceeded our expectations. Her insight and effectiveness while warmly and empathetically listening and responding to the young parents questions was evident by their responses and desire to request more time and sessions with her. She was a valuable source of parenting information. The interactive activities enabled the attendees to be reflective and more consciousness of their parenting approaches. I would highly recommend her services."

"Suzanne gave a well-planned presentation based on the Calmer, Easier, Happier Parenting approach which was very well received by all the mothers participating in this program. She handled the group very well as she was able to present the topic skillfully and create an atmosphere where the participants were very engaged in the session and felt very comfortable to make comments and ask questions. The participants’ responses to the session were very positive. I had many comments complimenting Suzanne’s knowledge and presentation skills. Many participants requested to bring her back to conduct more parenting sessions. As a result of this very positive evaluation, Suzanne will become a regular presenter for the parenting sessions that will be offered at our Centre."
